Mental health is an important aspect of human lives that doesn’t often get taken care of, especially during adolescent years. But with the help of the school’s mental health specialists, Ryan Perisho, Casia Ravi, and Simi Samra, the task of bringing awareness and support to d.tech is being tackled.

Since December, d.tech’s WYN time schedule has undergone numerous changes. Although the changes were implemented with positive intent, the new schedule has since been criticized by some students.

Over the last two years, the Covid-19 pandemic has kept students from going to school. The pandemic also kept Freshmen from being able to see d.tech before they started the first day of school. These students say that Design Tech is not what they expected it to be before they came here.

For many people, the transition from zoom was harder than expected. As we all know, last year was very unique. Zoom was hard for most students, but it did have its perks: sleeping in, school from bed, and more free time were just some of the pros of online school.
